Great Remedy For Colds

Did you know that you can use some simple inexpensive ingredients to help you feel better when you have a cold? This is what I do when I get a cold or flu bug. At first when my hubby made it, I thought it sounded bad and would not work but it actually does work and makes me feel better! We even have our neighbor taking our remedy when she gets sick.

Ingredients

Make some hot green tea and add about 3 – 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar along with some honey. Stir really good and drink up! It helps relieve a cold and breaks up phlegm (ick). I only get sick about once a year and it is usually a whopper becoming bronchitis. I also use Coldeze lozenges that now come in a box instead of a bag. Had a hard time finding those the other week when hubby was sick with a sore throat. I had thought they quit making those for a minute until the pharmacist helped me out. They help a cold a lot!

Chicken Soup

There is always what grandma and mother gave us like chicken soup, told us to drink lots of water, take tylenol and rest. My mother used to give me 7-up or Squirt pop (ok, soda) too. To this day, I hate that pop. So here’s hoping you don’t get a cold or flu this year but if you do check out the apple cider vinegar to feel much better! Coldeze too!
